Chenille Patches

DESCRIPTION:
Nostalgia is what our Chenille Patches will bring you! A letterman jacket will come to
mind, however that's only the beginning as you can achieve far more than that with our
Chenille. Cut to shape fully customized, choose from up to 53 thread
colors and a variety of felt fabric, including Gold & Silver Glitter! Go classic, retro or
artistic! The world is yours!

EMBLEM SIZE LIMITS:
Min – 2”W X 2”H
Max – 16”W X 16”H

TEXT AND ELEMENTS:
Text minimum: 30mm H x proportional W
Elements minimum: 3mm x 3mm
Internal cut-outs: 10mm

DESIGNS:
If a complex design is provided, World Emblem's designers will make necessary
alterations to comply with product restrictions.
No area of felt should be left without thread. Custom shapes only.

TEXT WITHIN DESIGNS:
Only block font.

THREAD COLORS:
A maximum of 6 thread colors can be used on a single Chenille Patch.

EDGE:
All patches must have a felt fabric outer edge.
For emblems smaller than 6.9" x 6.9" the outer edge should be 4mm (+/- 1.5mm)
For emblems bigger than 7" x 7" the outer edge should be 6mm (+/- 2mm)

BACKING:
• Low Melt Heat Seal
• Pressure Sensitive

FLOATING ELEMENTS:
All Chenille Patches must have a uniform background that supports every
text and elements. Floating elements are not allowed.
WASHING INFORMATION
Chenille Patches will withstand up to 25 domestic washing machine cycles.

SHELF LIFE
One year shelf life before applying (room temperature-controlled environment).
Note: World Emblem encourages our clients to test applications of our products onto
their garments. World Emblem is not responsible for damages resulting from washing
and laundering of any product purchased.

PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ON HARD GOODS
Make sure the application area is thoroughly cleaned. We recommend the use of rubbing alcohol. Remove paper backing and press firmly on the desired location.

APPLICATION SETTINGS FOR HATS - TOP & BOTTOM HEAT:
1. Set the press at 290-300° F for top heat, 315-320° F for bottom heat with 20-40 Psi of pressure.
2. Place the Chenille Patch on the desired location and secure it with thermal application tape
3. Cover the patch with a Flexstyle® Rubber Application Pad
4. Press for 14-17 seconds.
5. Remove the hat from the heat press and let it cool
