Materials

Limitations

Low melt - Not recommended for use on materials that may be heat sensitive (ex: some nylons, silk, some plastics, leather, wool, fleece, etc.) or for weather-treated materials, due to chemicals used that do not allow the emblems to adhere properly.
Pressure-sensitive -
Recommended application is on flat, non-textured surfaces, including glass, plastic, wood, and metal. Not recommended for application on surfaces that may contain an oil finish, such as silicon, Teflon™, rough fabrics, or outdoor goods.

Washing Information

Chenille patches will withstand at least 52 domestic washing machine cycles at 104°F max.

Shelf Life

One year shelf life before applying (room temperature-controlled environment).

Low Melt Application Instructions

LOW MELT BACKING WITH A 360 IQ™ HAT HEAT PRESS - HATS

  • Top Temperature: 290°-300° F
  • BottomTemperature: 315°-320° F
  • Pressure: 40-50 PSI
  • Preheat: N/A
  • Dwell Time: 14-17 seconds
  • Instructions: Place hat on heat press, leaving out the inner layer of the cap. Use a FlexStyle® Silicone Pad to protect the patch.

LOW MELT BACKING WITH TOP HEAT & BOTTOM HEAT - GARMENTS

  • Top Temperature: 290°-300° F
  • BottomTemperature: 315°-320° F
  • Pressure: 40-50 PSI
  • Preheat: N/A
  • Dwell Time: 14-17 seconds
  • Instructions: Place patch on desired location and secure it in place with Thermal Tape. . Use a FlexStyle® Silicone Pad to protect the patch.

LOW MELT BACKING WITH A TOP HEAT PRESS - GARMENTS

  • Temperature: 350°-360° F
  • Pressure: 40-50 PSI
  • Preheat: N/A
  • Dwell Time: 15-20 seconds
  • Instructions: Place patch on desired location and secure it in place with Thermal Tape. Turn garment inside out and heat press.
  • Optional: For delicate fabrics such as nylon, lycra, 100% polyester, etc. use a FlexStyle® Silicone Pad over garment for protection.
