Our Woven Patches offer best of both worlds! Thread & Flexibility while maintaining the traditional look. We offer you our interlaced weaving process with intricate designs without the need of fabric. Available in up to 65 colors. We offer Woven Patches with backing options of low melt heat seal & pressure sensitive making the possibilities for applications endless! We’ve also got you covered with border choices between Merrow and Overlock. Alternatively, we have Woven available for you without backing and borderless for your tag needs!

SPECS - WOVEN PATCHES

EMBLEM SIZE LIMITS

  • Borderless:
    - Minium size: 0.5”

TEXT AND ELEMENTS
Minimum elements and text size: 0.2 mm wide x 2 mm height

COLOR
A minimum of 2 colors must be used & a maximum of 12 colors can be used on a single Woven Patch.

A standard color chart with 66 colors is available. 

Metallic colors count as 4 colors (Each).

Border cannot have metallic thread.

WASHING INFORMATION
Woven Patches will withstand up to 52 domestic washing machine cycles.
 
SHELF LIFE
To maximize the shelf life of this product please keep at room temperature. Do not expose it to temperatures above 485°.
 
DISCLAIMERS
The alignment of the logo and outer edge may vary by +/- 2mm. Patches are at risk of irregularities, due to the nature of the production.
 
Due to the natural behavior of the weaving process, background color variation may be visible when darker colors are used over light colors.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS - WOVEN PATCHES

PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ON HARD GOODS
Make sure the application area is thoroughly cleaned. We recommend the use of rubbing alcohol. Remove paper backing and press firmly on the desired location.

LOW MELT HEAT SEAL ON GARMENTS (TOP HEAT)

  1. Set the press at 350-360° F with 40-50 psi of pressure.
  2. Place the garment in the press. Make sure that the application location is wrinkle-free.
  3. Place the patch onto the desired location on the garment. Thermal tape is optional.
  4. Press for 15-18 seconds
  5. Remove the garment from the press and allow to cool.

LOW MELT HEAT SEAL ON HATS - USING THE IQ 360 HAT HEAT PRESS

  1. Set the press at 275°-285° F for top heat and 315°- 320°F for bottom heat with 60-80 psi of pressure.
  2. Place the hat on the heat press, leaving out the inner layer of the cap. Use the adjustment lever for a better grip.
  3. Place the patch on the desired location. To secure the patch and preventing it from moving, use Thermal Tape.
  4. Press for 15-18 seconds.
  5. Deactivate the adjustment lever and remove the hat from the heat press.
  6. Remove the Thermal Tape once the patch has cooled.
